Size doesn't matter!! All that matters is being happy and healthy..

Watched the movie Size Zero few days ago. And I have been thinking about it since then as it surely was relative for me as I have faced such stupidity!! Those were the days when I was on my job search after my graduation. I had never crossed 40 KGs in my entire life. People used to be so insane that they would hit me with those words which I still remember: "No one will marry you" , "You cant have children with this body" .. Hell yeah!! Some censor cuts too....

When Kareena was seen in Size Zero in Tashan (if I am not wrong).. I was given a tag line - "Size Minus"..

At this stage of life I realize.. people let you down and yes that is a way they balance their inferiority. When others compare you with obese people, you get so struck up, and why don't you realize that even thin people have the same feeling when u butt into and talk shit about their figure???

This post is dedicated to the one who called me "Not a marriage material" .I am married happily with a lovely kid. I feel so proud to tell, the whole period of pregnancy I had no complications. I am as healthy as that day when you called me with disgusting names. Weight isn't a matter; health is!!!! I am proud lean gal.. and thanks to my Dad's genes.

Just wanted to tell all my readers be happy with what you are, don't let negativity bother you.. the best will come for you..

భీష్మ పితామహుడు

నేను మహాభారతం రెండు సార్లు చదివను. ఒకసారి 2003 అంటే నేను 10 వ తరగతి  లో ఉన్నపుడు రెండో సారి నా ఇంజినీరింగ్ అయిపోయాక 2010 లో . నేను 2003 లో చదివినప్పుడు ఒక మామూలు నవల చదివినట్టే feel ఇయ్యా . రెండో సరి చదివాక నాకు శ్రీ కృష్ణుడు, అర్జునుడు చాల నచ్చారు .కర్ణుడు , దౌర్పది పాపం భాదితులు అని అనిపించింది .  కాని ఇప్పుడు స్టార్ ప్లస్ లోప్రసారం ఇయ్యే  మహాభారత్ సీరియల్ చూస్తున్నా .. Now I am impressed with Bheeshma Pithamah.. The biggest victim than Karna and Draupathi.

The characteristics of Bheeshma are amazing.. A true skilled and disciplined warrior, person with good political science. A person who stands for truth and duty till the end. He laid on the bed of arrows to see the 'Dharma stapana' even though he could choose death. 

Started reading Mahabharatha again. Let me see how I this time feel about this and how I try to understand Mahabhatatha.. I am sure I will try to understand better each time I read..

I don't want your "CONCERN"

Being a mom is a very tough job.. That too a new mom and a first mom is toughest.. Reading a blog of one of my friends reminded me this incident which happened to me.

Few days after my delivery I go to my ILs place.. There alot of people come to visit me and my princess.. That is so sweet of them. But why do these people show the false concern which I dont need.

My mom who is looking after my kiddo from the day she was born day and night with out sleep, was taking my little baby on her lap. A lady who I have never seen or never known who she is, is just a visitor, tells my mom not to take my baby in the lap. She claims 'Meeru ala ethukuni alavatu cheste MA AMMAI(Me) (lol) malli kasta padali' She tells this to my mom claiming I am this lady's child.. This is one of the most disgusting things I have ever faced. I was so pissed of. The irony is nobody who knows her or who invited her stopped. Rather they are supporting her. Me being a independent and a lady with self respect cannot just let some lady to claim I am her so called child that too to my mom. So I gently had to tell her that its my mom who is going to look after the baby after 2 months when my maternity leave was gonna end.

This is one of the things that happened to me, there are many more things people want to know about and people want to interfere. Just letting this phase to pass by being firm, no matter if it hurts someone or not.

I just want to tell to all such people.. Please I do not want your so called false concern on me..
